Madi, along with her husband Micah, are the owners of May Media, a Frisco, Texas-based headshot photography company. They started May Media because entrepreneurs constantly need fresh photos of themselves for social media but being in front of a camera can feel REALLY awkward. They help entrepreneurs feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera so you can show off your success AND your personality.

Moment of Courage
When Madi was 11, her family joined a cult. When she was 19, she was involved with the training center, but was sexually assaulted and kicked out of the cult. Up until that point, she allowed other people to tell her about herself and allow it to speak into her identity. It was a chance to start over about what she believed, most importantly what she believed about herself and start fresh deciding who she was going to be.
“No one can fix your life for you. You have to choose that for yourself. I’m not ok with my life and it’s up to me to change it. I’m going to make my life what I want it to be. Choosing it for yourself, means you’re not waiting on anyone else. You get to become who you want to be.”

In the last 5 years, taking portraits has become a passion for Madi. When someone gets to see a deeper part of themselves that they’re proud of, that is winning in Madi’s book.
